GSA “On-Call” A-E Design Services Contract (2004-2010)

TapanAm Associates, Inc. currently holds an IDIQ contract with the Heartland Region of the General Service Administration. The projects included under this contract are located in the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. To date the Joint Venture has worked on over 100 Task Orders on this 5 year contract, with security clearance for all key personnel already in place. The individual Work Orders include a variety of projects including programming, planning and design charettes, renovation of historic structures, real property master planning, cost estimating, value engineering studies, site investigation, geotechnical reports, LEED/sustainable design practices, interior remodel, tenant finish, security upgrades, landscaping design, feasibility studies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades, ADA improvements, fire protection studies and upgrades, preparation of Contract Drawings Technical Specifications, Construction Phase Services.

Bartle Hall Expansion and Renovation
TapanAm’s role as a consultant to HNTB for the Bartle Convention Center Complex improvements included the responsibility to provide structural design and construction phase services for the interior renovation of the 180,000 sq. ft. convention and meeting space within the existing convention center. This work included the structural design of supports for large (2 to 4 tons each) moveable partitions and fixed walls. “TapanAm’s engineers demonstrated the ability to provide innovative solutions for the support moveable partitions, fixed walls, soffits and rigging anchorages where support framing was difficult due to existing construction.” -- Mr. Michael W.
