1) New IRS Complex (1.2 million sq. ft.) at Downtown Kansas City, MO.
TapanAm was given the task for calculating energy consumption and compare against ASHRAE 90.1. Baseline design to evaluate any scorings to win LEED Accreditation points.
TapanAm’s LEED Design Team Created an ENERGY Model using eQuest Software (DOE-II) and concluded the analysis with a positive result to win the Green Building credit. The project was led by our Lead M/E/P Engineer Ken Diehl, P.E., LEED.

2) Fire Station #19, Kansas City, MO.
TapanAm’s Civil Engineering Department led by Paul R. Parks, P.E., contributed to 4 LEED points for this new building and site improvements design.
